African visitors at Menston school

Flamenco dancing and Greek food will be keeping students at St Mary’s School in Menston entertained this week as they welcome 14 African guests to the school.

The guests are coming from Kwa Zulu Natal in South Africa, an area which St Mary’s students have been raising money for.

Head teacher Michael Pyle said: “This is a marvellous opportunity for all our pupils to have practical experience of learning about global issues.”
