Young people living around Shipley, Yeadon and Menston are being encouraged to join their local Young Farmers Club.

Esholt and District YFC is holding a new members’ night on Monday, July 20, at Esholt Sports Club, Shipley. The club is looking for people aged between ten and 26.

Kelly Armitage, of the Yorkshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs, said: “Despite the name Young Farmers, we are certainly not just a club for farmers or even farmers’ sons and daughters. We are open to members of any background, as long as they are prepared to have a go at anything!”

People should visit the website www.yfyfc.org.uk and go along to the meeting in Esholt at 7:30pm.
