Pedestrian killed crossing road
A 35-year-old Farsley man has died following an accident with a lorry as he crossed the Stanningley bypass in Leeds today.
Police are appealing for information for anyone who witnessed the crash which happened at 9.20am.
The man, who police have not yet named, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on the Leeds-bound carriageway.
Anyone with information should contact PC 5700 Fran Brown at North West Leeds Road Traffic Police on 0845 6060606.
