Homes plan rejected
A failure to provide enough affordable' housing has knocked back a scheme which would have seen 91 homes built.
Leeds planners agreed in November to delay making a decision on the proposed development for Low Lane, Horsforth, on the former Woodside Mill site, to see if the developers were willing to make an improved affordable' housing contribution.
But now Leeds Plans Panel West has ruled that a £455,000 offer towards affordable' properties - at the expense of removing some environmental and public transport elements - is not acceptable.
