Advertiser Series

The Bramley Advertiser, founded in 1891 by William Witts in premises at 110 Town Street, Bramley, was bought by Newsquest in February 2003.

The paper was re-launched and gradually increased in pagination over the first few months.

A second edition, the Armley & Wortley Advertiser was launched in November the same year as demand grew to cover a wider circulation area.

The Advertiser series added a third title in July 2004 with the launch of the Pudsey Advertiser and July the following year saw the Horsforth Advertiser join the stable.

The main office for the Advertiser series was moved from Bramley to Pudsey in November 2005 to centralise the operation in the distribution area as much as possible.

The Horsforth, the Bramley, the Armley & Wortley and the Pudsey editions appear between Tuesday and Thursday of each week.

The four papers now cover an important and busy area of Leeds, providing a valuable advertising platform as well as keeping readers up to date with local news and sport.
